We have separated our offerings into age categories, but you will notice that some of our children's and teen's groups are listed in multiple categories. Due to the nature of child development, we use the categories as approximations. If you would like to request a screening to determine the best fit, please fill out our request for screening form.

Circle of Hearts: A Life Group for Girls
Circle of Hearts is a social-emotional group for girls adopted from China. The groups are facilitated by professional psychotherapists, board-certified music therapists, and art therapists.
Each group cluster will run for 6 consecutive weeks. Participants will be clustered by emotional and chronological age. Ages 4 through adult treated. There will be between 4 and 6 girls in each group.
The themes for the group sessions surround the topics of: adoption, attachment, self-expression, self-concept, trust, friendship, empathy, and respect.
Location: North Bay Community Church, 3170 N McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33761.
Circle of Little Stars: A Life Group for Young Adopted Children
Circle of Little Stars is a social-emotional group for children adopted from overseas orphanages. The groups are facilitated by professional psychotherapists, board-certified music therapists, and art therapists. There will be two professional co-facilitators at each group session. Anna Weaver- Counselor & Music Therapist and Dawn Foretich- Counselor & Art Therapist will be facilitating the next two series of groups.
Each group cluster will run for 6 consecutive weeks. Participants will be clustered by emotional and chronological age. Ages 4 through 7 treated. There will be between 4 and 6 children in each group.
The themes for the group sessions surround the topics of: adoption/attachment, self-expression, trust, empathy, making friends, turn-taking, respect, following directions, emotional growth

Circle of Friends: A Life -Group for Adopted Teens
Circle of Friends are social-emotional groups for tweens and teens adopted through private adoption in the U.S. or from the foster-care system. The groups are facilitated by professional psychotherapists, board-certified music therapists, and art therapists.
Each group cluster will run for 6 consecutive weeks. Groups are offered to males & females. Teen groups will be divided by ages 11-14 (Tweens) AND 15-18 (Teens)
There will be between 4 and 6 tweens or teens in each group.
The themes for the group sessions surround the topics of: adoption, attachment, self-expression, self-concept, trust, friendship, empathy, respect.
