Our goal is to create a positive impact on the lives of children, adults, and families to help them achieve personal growth and self-exploration in a creative way. Our team consists of board certified music therapists, many of whom are also Music Together® teachers and most have at least a master’s degree with over 100 years of cumulative experience.

INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPYAll individual therapy services are provided by a Board Certified Music Therapist who has successfully met the criteria as set by the Certification Board for Music Therapists, www.cbmt.org. Additionally, the therapist will have specialized training beyond these requirements for the specific service offered in the case of Therapeutic Listening® and adapted lessons. LEARN MORE

MUSIC TOGETHERTempo! Music Therapy Services offers Music Together®, an internationally recognized early childhood music program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTIONLessons are made to fit the specific needs of each student and are offered on a variety of instruments and voice. Lessons are 30 to 60 minutes and are typically once per week. The focus is on learning an instrument and developing musical skills. LEARN MORE

CMTE (CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES)Board Certified Music Therapists are required to participate in continuing education to maintain their certification. One way to obtain these credits, called CMTE (Continuing Music Therapy Education) is by attending courses offered by an Approved Provider (AP). LEARN MORE
