Coursework/Experience

• Advanced piano, voice and mallet percussion skills. Intermediate instruments include violin, guitar, and ukulele. Able and willing to teach all instruments at the beginner level. Classically trained from West Chester University, performed in Golden Rams Marching Band and Concert Choir. Extensive background in dance.

• Experience working with young children and students who are English Language Learners (ELL) and students who are deaf. 

• Experience working with young children and adults of all ages who have developmental delays and other special needs.  

• Interned at Nemours duPont Hospital for Children and worked one-on-one with patients from the following units: hematology/oncology, emergency department, trauma, dialysis, cardiac care, orthopedics/rehabilitation, Nuerology, and PICU. Observed supervisor work with and provide interventions for NICU babies and families.  Worked directly with children infant-age up to age 25, some of which had intellectual delays, autism, psychological disorders, physical disabilities and other limitations.

• Former Disney World Cast Member, former Carnival Cruise Lines Entertainer and Youth Staff/Host. Ample experiences which required constant high energy, the ability to shift attention/grab peoples' focus quickly and as smoothly as possible, and in helping children to resolve conflict and communicate with each other.
