About Our Practice: Tempo! Music Therapy Services is located in West Chester, PA and has been serving the community for over 22 years. We provide individual and group music therapy sessions and adapted music lessons in our studio, via telehealth, and in some community and school locations. We also offer Music Together family/early childhood music classes and Music Together Within Therapy. We have always been a fully inclusive studio, serving individuals of all ages, abilities, and diagnoses.
Position:

Two part time or one full time position

Qualifications:
-
Music Therapy Board Certification (MT-BC) If board eligible, please contact us with an anticipated date of exam.

Experience working as a music therapist with varied clientele.
Highlights of this position:

Variety of work with different ages and diagnoses

Paid Music Together teacher training (includes CMTEs)
Work Responsibilities:
-
Plan and implement individual and group music therapy sessions and adapted lessons

Teach Music Together classes, as needed
-
Provide consultation to potential clients, as needed
-
Complete progress notes in online database
-
Develop treatment plans, including goals, as requested, generally annually
-
Submit a twice monthly timesheet of service hours rendered
-
Maintain client confidentiality and abide by the AMTA Code of Ethics at all times
-
Provide consultation to potential clients and write consultation reports, as needed

Professional liability insurance

Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance

Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check

FBI Criminal Record Check
-
TB/Mantoux Test (or other comparable negative TB test)

Mandated Reporter and additional required training (online, asynchronous)
